About Us
Our Mission
The Unit of Cognitive-Behavioral Clinical Psychology of the University of Coimbra (UpC3) aims to provide a range of services to the community. These services are the result of work carried out by faculty members of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (FPCE-UC) and researchers from the Center for Research in Neuropsychology and Cognitive-Behavioral Intervention (CINEICC).
The academic and professional qualifications of its members, together with extensive research experience in cognitive-behavioral and contextual therapies – including the development and empirical validation of structured interventions (both individual and group) – have fostered a growing desire to give back to the community the results of the work carried out over the last decades, with the aim of contributing to the promotion of mental health in children, adolescents, and adults.
The UpC3 develops research and intervention projects in collaboration with the Center for Research in Neuropsychology and Cognitive-Behavioral Intervention (CINEICC) of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra (FPCE-UC).

What We Do
Benefiting from a close relationship between research and intervention in the area of clinical and health psychology, UPC³ offers highly specialized services, provided by experienced and certified professionals, allowing research results to benefit the general public, different professionals and interested organizations in the prevention and treatment of mental illness.
