The project “Detectives of Emotions In-Out & Skillful Cat” aims to compare the effectiveness of two psychological interventions aimed at children with anxiety symptoms.
One of the interventions combines 15 face-to-face group sessions and online sessions and is called “Detectives of Emotions In-Out”; the other intervention, also consisting of 15 sessions, comprises only face-to-face group sessions and is called “The Skilful Cat.”
Both interventions are evidence-based and are aimed at children between the ages of 7 and 12 who show clinically significant symptoms of anxiety, and their parents/legal guardians.
Registration for the program were open in three locations: Lisbon, Pombal, and Coimbra, and the groups took place in Coimbra at the UPC3 facility.
